This is a study of the hadith 'O Allah, have mercy on the Ansar and the children of the Ansar.' It aims to highlight the virtues of the Companions in general and the Ansar in particular (may Allah be pleased with them all) and to clarify the key prophetic principles in dealing with problems, while attempting to derive the profound meanings of this hadith. The writing of this research is structured into an introduction, a preface, two main sections, and a conclusion. The introduction outlines the research topic, its importance, objectives, issues, procedures, and research plan. The preface discusses the Ansar, their virtues, and sacrifices—may Allah be pleased with them. In the first section, I discussed the hadith, its chain of narration, the biographies of its narrators, and an interpretation of its difficult phrases, along with the derived benefits. In the second section, I addressed the key principles that can be derived from the hadith in problem solving. The research concluded with several findings, the most important of which are:
- The importance of the Ansar in supporting steadfast calls and relying on them when people abandon and retreat from these calls.
- Conscious leadership transforms negative situations into positive ones, strengthening determination and restoring trust; the Prophet excelled in this.
- The prophetic biography contains a wealth of benefits that we should utilize in addressing daily situations.
